THE NIVENS were an Indie Pop sensation from Northumberland in the North-East of England. They were active from 1987 to 1990. Releasing a flexi and 2 singles. Their debut single "Yesterday" originally released on the Woosh label in January 1989 (reaching the indie top 10) was recently re-released on the Optic Nerve Record Label but has now sold out.
